Schweitzer Musical Chairs Bridge

At Wm. Winkler CO., we’re proud to have played a key role in the expansion of Schweitzer Mountain Resort with the construction of the Musical Chairs Bridge. This 305-foot-long, 3-pier, 2-span steel girder bridge was engineered for durability and performance in a demanding mountain environment. Featuring a structural concrete deck, snow walls, and a handrail, this bridge provides seamless skier and pedestrian access between Schweitzer Creek Village and the main resort area.

This project required complex excavation and site preparation due to the high-altitude environment and unpredictable weather conditions. Despite these challenges, our expert team delivered a high-quality, long-lasting structure that enhances connectivity and withstands the elements.
